  We were there on the day after New Years, visiting from Sydney with 2 very sick children (Nearly 5 and 3 years old) running high fevers. The staff there were very kind and considerate, making sure that they had tissues and a cold compress while we waited. The female doctor we saw seemed very thorough in her examination and we felt that our questions and concerns were not just brushed aside. And then, one of the other doctors was called in to confirm the diagnosis. All in all, we felt that, even though we were 'out of towners' and unlikely to ever visit again, that our children (and us) were treated with the same level of care and attention we would expect from our local GP, and certainly not a "manufacturing line" kind of process.

  Without doubt the best general practice in Taree, friendly and attentive staff and always a doctor when needed urgently.

  My mother is 87 and has previously had difficulty finding a 'competent' medical doctor. The staff at this Centre are wonderful, caring and above all show a genuine interest in her welfare. Just when we thought 'home visits' were a thing of the past we were very excited to know Dr Hargood would visit her when she is unable to visit him. He is a wonderful person, a terrific sense of humour and a thorough investigative, insightful Doctor. This is rarely found in Taree. Thanks for being there for Betty, I really appreciate your love and care for my mum.

  If we were locals, then this would certainly be our treatment centre of choice.
